About Membership
Coomealla Health Aboriginal Corporation (CHAC) is an Indigenous corporation under the CATSI Act 2006.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members aged 18 years and over are eligible to apply for CHAC membership. Membership gives you the right to vote at Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and Special General Meetings (SGMs) on matters affecting CHAC.
It’s also a great way to stay connected and keep up to date with what’s happening at CHAC. To apply, download the membership form below, complete it and return it to CHAC reception — or visit us in person and our friendly staff will assist you to complete the form.
About our Board
CHAC is guided by a Board of Directors elected by CHAC members. Our Board supports the CEO and staff to deliver CHAC’s vision, mission and values, and to keep the organisation strong, accountable and community-led.
About our Staff
Our staff work across primary healthcare and community support programs to provide culturally safe services for our community. This includes clinical services (GPs, nurses and Aboriginal Health team), transport support, administration, health promotion, and targeted wellbeing programs.
About our Strategic Plan
CHAC’s Strategic Plan sets the direction for how we will work towards our vision: “Working Together for a Healthy, Strong and Proud Aboriginal Community.” It outlines our goals and priorities and supports continuous improvement in how we deliver services for community.
